Climate Week NYC: Finding Your Place in the Climate Movement
Climate change is a complex and multifaceted crisis — and it can be difficult and overwhelming to know exactly how to get involved or volunteer to make a difference. But, no matter your skills and expertise, climate change is an all hands on deck moment.
During Climate Week NYC, the Natural Areas Conservancy is hosting two speakers who have found their niche in the climate movement. Nora is a volunteer for Mothers Out Front leading local advocacy efforts in New York. And Stephanie is a NYC Parks Super Steward volunteer who cares for local forests as a way to cope with climate change anxiety. Both women are rolling up their sleeves and using their strengths and interests to contribute to the climate movement. This one-hour virtual program will give you the chance to meet these speakers, learn about their experiences, and explore different ways you too can get involved and make a difference.
This event is made possible through generous funding from Con Edison.
