Rockaway Community Park Wetland Cleanup

Join the Natural Areas Conservancy and the American Littoral Society to clean up one of the city’s most precious resources—the salt marsh at Rockaway Community Park. This wetland is home to mussels, crabs, and birds, and protects local communities from damages caused by storms and flooding. Help us clean up the marsh so that it may continue to grow and thrive.

We recommend volunteers wear long pants and sturdy shoes with a thick sole. Work gloves will be provided. Registration is required.
