Tree Planting at Soundview Butterfly Meditation Garden

All are welcome to plant native trees and shrubs that support pollinators. Join NYC Parks Department Stewardship Field Associates and Teddy Bear Project volunteers at Soundview Butterfly Meditation Garden. Help fight climate change and beautify Soundview Park. Participants will learn about the many benefits of planting native trees and use shovels to install 100+trees and shrubs. Bring water to stay hydrated and wear clothes that can get dirty. This is a rain or shine event.
