Webinar: An Inside Look at Van Cortlandt Park: Understanding NYC Plant Communities

This webinar is open to all and is the first session in a series for the curious park lover and volunteer. Take this webinar and attend any or all of the in-person sessions, and learn how to care for the forest!

The Natural Areas Conservancy and Van Cortlandt Park Alliance are teaming up to restore two acres of forest in the Northeast Forest of Van Cortlandt Park this year. We would love for you to join us, especially if you are a community member in Woodlawn or Yonkers, or utilize this section of Van Cortlandt Park,

This training will include guided volunteer opportunities and will culminate in a planting day on October 23rd.
