11/23 Ecology Park – Forest Restoration

Volunteer with NYC Parks and the Natural Areas Conservancy in Ecology Park, Brooklyn! Volunteers will learn how to identify and safely remove invasive plants in order to help restore natural areas and create a healthier ecosystem. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle for this event. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. Funding for this event is generously provided by the Jamaica Bay Rockaway Parks Conservancy.
