Ecology and History in Van Cortlandt Park

Join us on a winter walk through NYC’s third largest park. This gem of the Bronx contains both incredible natural beauty and cultural significance, including over 600 acres of forest, 200-year-old trees and the oldest house in the borough. We will include details from our research in the park and our 25-year plan for NYC forests.

This event is free, but registration is required. Follow the Sign Up link for more information.

The Natural Areas Conservancy is presenting this event in partnership with the Friends of Van Cortlandt Park and the Van Cortlandt Park Conservancy.

This event was made possible through support to the Natural Areas Conservancy from Con Edison.
