Environmental Candidate Forum for NY’s Congressional District 15

An important primary election will occur this June and one of the positions on the ballot is your Congress member. Longtime Rep. Jose Serrano is retiring at the end of this year and there are several candidates in the race to replace him. Do you know their positions on environmental issues?

The NYLCV is partnering with the Natural Areas Conservancy and New Yorkers for Parks to hold a virtual environmental candidate forum moderated by The City‘s Ese Olumhense. Join us to hear from candidates including: Michael Blake, Ydanis Rodriguez, and Ritchie Torres. We will ask the candidates where they stand on a wide range of environmental and sustainability issues including climate change, clean water, natural resource conservation, and protecting our public lands.
