NAC Inwood Hill Park Spring Ephemeral & City Nature Challenge Walk

Contribute to the 2024 City Nature Challenge!

The Natural Areas Conservancy (NAC) will host a guided walk throughout Inwood Hill Park to explore the diversity of spring wildflowers. Volunteers will learn how to identify these plants and learn how to make iNaturalist observations of any other signs of nature you find along the way. These observations will contribute to the 2024 City Nature Challenge and NYC’s overall ranking during the weekend.

All ages are welcome. Attendees under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Location: Inwood Hill Park – Payson Playground: 285-287 Dyckman St, New York, NY 10034

Time: 10am – 1pm

What you should bring:

  • A water bottle
  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Sturdy, closed toe shoes
  • Smart phone with the app iNaturalist downloaded

If for whatever reason you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation. Space is limited and we want to ensure we can do our best to accommodate those who are interested.
