Springtime Tour of Prospect Park

Join the Natural Areas Conservancy (NAC) for a guided walk through Prospect Park— one of Brooklyn’s remaining native forests. Senior Ecologist Helen Forgione will share tips for springtime plant and tree identification, and will show you the unique forest features of the park. Helen will also share findings from NAC’s first-ever, citywide assessment project, as well as what’s next for our organization. This event was generously supported by Con Edison.

This tour will meet in the Info Commons Lab at Brooklyn Public Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn.
