Trail Work Friday: Pelham Bay Park

Natural Areas Conservancy will host a Pathkeeper Structure Builder “Trail Work Fridays” at Pelham Bay Park on Friday, July 25. This series will be taking place on the last Friday of the month from June-October at Pelham Bay & Seton Falls Parks. If you are attending, please fill out this volunteer waiver.

We look forward to having you all join us for a Structure Builder Workday at Pelham Bay Park! This event is free and open to the public.

This project will include the installation of puncheons to mitigate muddy and low lying flooded trails on the Siwanoy Trail.

During this workday you will:

  • Learn how to plan and assess site to install a puncheon
  • Install a puncheon

What you should bring:

  • A water bottle
  • Weather appropriate clothing
  • Long pants
  • Sturdy, closed toe shoes
