The New York City Natural Areas Network is a coalition of local natural areas professionals designed to provide regular opportunities to connect, share expertise, and co-develop best practices. We meet for workshops, site visits, and trainings, and have the opportunity to develop collaborative research projects in NYC’s natural areas.

Who is in the NYC Natural Areas Network?
The Natural Areas Conservancy brings together park conservancy staff across the five boroughs, as well as practitioners from NYC Parks and the New York State Department of Conservation.
We’re looking to expand the network to anyone who could benefit, especially if your organization is not yet represented.
