Join us for Inwood Hill Park Fire Ecology and Restoration Walk!
Supported by Friends of Inwood Hill Park, join us for a guided tour through some of the wildfire sites nearly one year after the significant fire event. We’ll walk the Blue and Orange Trails to observe the forest’s recovery and learn about its future.

- Discuss both the damage and the ecological benefits of the wildfire.
- Observe Friends of Inwood Hill Park’s hands-on efforts to aid recovery.
- Learn to identify plant species within these sites
- Connect with others while sharing ideas and concerns in the fresh air
🎒 Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather!

🚶 This walk will cover rugged terrain, including stairs (e.g., the Shrapock entrance, White Trail), and will run about one hour at a slow pace.
