Registration for the 2026 Forests in Cities Workshop Atlanta is now open!

Join us March 30-31, 2026, for a gathering of practitioners, policy makers, and researchers that care for, protect, or are simply interested in urban forested natural areas. This is the only conference that is focused specifically on the topic! Join us this spring to network, problem solve, and learn together.

Not a member of the Forest in Cities network? No problem. For the first time, the Natural Areas Conservancy is offering workshop tickets to urban forestry professionals outside of the network. Secure your slot now to be a part of this important annual gathering of researchers and practitioners. Seats are limited!

What to Expect

Food: A light breakfast and lunch will be provided both days of the conference.

Lodging: We have reserved a hotel block at the Starling Hotel, which is located .5 miles away from the conference site. To book your stay please use this link. The deadline to reserve a room is March 16, 2026.

Transportation: Attendees will be responsible for transportation to Piedmont Park. Transportation to field experiences will be provided.

Cost: $300 per ticket.

Deadline: We will accept registration until we reach capacity, but suggest you register before March 16 to ensure your spot!
