City Nature Challenge: Bio-marathon and Invertebrate Identification at Alley Pond Park

Join NYC Parks Conservation and Monitoring team and learn about the spring active and passive pollinators, learn introductory invertebrate identification and walk through southern Alley Pond Park.

Please bring water and a snack as well as your smartphone or camera. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long sleeves, long socks, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Space is limited and registration is required. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone. To sign up a group of 2 or more volunteers please reach out to stewardship@parks.nyc.gov.
