Highbridge Park Clean Up and Ecology Walk with the NAC + WordUp Bookstore

On Saturday, September 24, the Natural Areas Conservancy and WordUp Bookstore will host a communal trash clean up and ecology walking tour in Highbridge Park, Manhattan. Volunteers will remove garbage in heavily-trafficked areas of the park. While working in the park, participants will learn about different ecological topics and invasive species management. Attendees are invited to stick around and join the afternoon poetry workshop in the park. Registration is required to attend. Tools will be provided. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather, and bring water and a snack if you wish. Walking will be on paved and unpaved forest trail.
