Inwood Hill Park Forest Restoration

Volunteer with the Natural Areas Conservancy and NYC Parks Stewardship Team to protect forested areas in Inwood Hill Park! Volunteers will learn how to identify and safely remove invasive plants in order to help restore the forest and create a healthier ecosystem. They will also be clearing trail corridors along the Orange Trail. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing that can get dirty. Please bring your own water bottle for this event. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone.
