Tree Planting in Seton Falls Park
Join the Natural Areas Conservancy (NAC) and the Seton Falls Park Preservation Coalition in the beautiful 36-acre, Seton Falls Park for a native tree planting event. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in tree planting activities, tree care, and walks on nature trails. Volunteers will learn how natural areas contribute to our social and ecological health, and support our ongoing restoration work.
All tools and planting materials will be supplied by the NAC.
Please wear sturdy boots or shoes, long pants, and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Please come prepared with your own water, snacks, and sun protection. This is a rain or shine event.
We will meet at High Rock Playground on 233rd ST near Baychester Avenue, across the street from the Edenwald Public Library.
Partial funding for this event has been provided to NAC by a Long Island Sound Futures Fund grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
