Virtual Event: Hiking in New York City

While this summer is shaping up to be different, one thing remains the same — New York City’s nature is still here for us. Hiking locally is one of the best ways you can take a break from being indoors and celebrate the summer season while staying safe and socially distant. And there are so many more opportunities to go for a hike in New York City’s natural areas than most people think!

Whether you’re a beginner or experienced hiker, on June 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., join the NAC’s Trails team members on Zoom as they share their best tips and advice on how to make the most of hiking in New York City. Our team members Elizabeth, Gabe, and Josh will cover helpful topics like what to wear, maps and resources, navigation, and recommended parks to visit.

This event is limited to 100 spots. Please only sign up if you plan to attend. We will keep the program to an hour, with an opportunity for Q&A at the end. This event was made possible through support to the Natural Areas Conservancy from Con Edison.
