Celebrate Nature in New York

Celebrate nature in New York City with the Natural Areas Conservancy and REI!

The event will celebrate our on-the-ground and first-of-its-kind research on New York City’s diverse ecology. The Natural Areas Conservancy is a champion of New York City’s forests, wetlands and grasslands for the benefit and enjoyment of all.

Join us as we launch our interactive nature map, helping you discover 10,000+ acres of forests, wetlands, and grasslands throughout the five boroughs. We’ll be doing demonstrations of the map and sharing some tips for enjoying New York City’s great outdoors.

Then enjoy a beer from Brooklyn Brewery while learning more about our work and how to get involved. There will be a brief presentation at 7:15 PM.
