Woodland Management Morning II in Riverside Park

The Natural Areas Conservancy and Riverside Park Conservancy are teaming up to restore the Boat Basin Woodlands in Riverside Park this fall. We would love for you to join us to help remove invasive species in preparation for a native maritime forest planting event in October!

This in-person event is open to all, and is part of an ongoing effort to increase the health of Riverside Park and the Hudson River. Look for other volunteer events in this series at https://naturalareasnyc.org/get-outside.

Registration is required to attend.

Please note: We will meet at Warsaw Ghetto Memorial Plaza at Riverside Park. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and long pants. Bring water and a snack if you wish. Appropriate for adults, and older supervised children. We will be working in a forested section of the park using hand tools. We will meet at the Warsaw Ghetto Memorial Plaza and walk together to the work site in Riverside Park.

Generous funding provided by the Hudson River Estuary Program and Greenacre Foundation.
